Milan and the Expo
The Residence Ajraghi of Milan is close to the recently built New expo area of Rho-Pero. Designed by the architect, Massimiliano Fuksas, it is Europe’s most important expo and commercial area, able to attract almost 5 million visitors a year in an area of over 700 thousand square meters.

The Fiera dell’Artigianato (Handicrafts Fair), the SMAU, the Photoshow and the prestigious Salone del Mobile (Furniture Exhibition), are some of the most important reviews carried out in these Milanese expos that find further space in the Fiera Milanocity, only two kilometers from our residence.

Milan and fashion
The Lombard capital is one of the realms of high fashion, from its workshops pieces famous all over the world are created; strolling in via Montenapoleone or along via della Spiga, you will be left spellbound by the luxury boutiques and you will get the chance of renewing your wardrobe. If you wish for a less expensive shopping but with the same quality, reach corso Buenos Aires and visit one of the 350 stores of this important commercial area.

After having dined in one of the refined restaurants of the Brera neighborhood or Sempione area, you have but to choose how to spend the rest of your evening. In Corso Como you will find trendy clubs, filled with famous athletes and television celebrities, whilst at the Navigli you can enjoy jazz concerts and cabaret shows until the wee hours of the morning, in one of Milan’s most exciting areas; finally do not forget the recent rediscovery of the Isola district, a place with multiethnic restaurants , new exhibition areas and surprising night clubs.

How to reach us

By car

Once in Milan from highways A1/A4/A7/A8/A9 take exit Viale Certosa, stay to your right along via Stephenson and at the stop sign turn left. Continue straight on towards the railway bridge, stay on your left and go into via Console Marcello. After about 1 km you will arrive at piazza Castelli, turn right onto via Ajraghi and after 300 meters, on your right, you’ll find Residence Ajraghi.

By plane

From the airport of Malpensa, take the Malpensa Express Train for Stazione Nord (Cadorna) or the Bus Malpensa Shuttle heading towards the Stazione Centrale di Milano train station; once there continue by tram or by taxi until you arrive at via Cesare Ajraghi where you’ll find Residence Ajraghi at n. 30. From the airport of Linate and from Bergamo’s Orio al Serio airport, take the tram or taxi to reach via Ajraghi and Residence Ajraghi.

By train

From the Stazione Centrale train station head towards the Residence Ajraghi by tram: go to the Duca d’Aosta/Stazione Centrale stop and take line 33 (Cacciatori delle Alpi), get off at Sempione Domodossola stop and get on line 1 (Castelli); once at Piazza Castelli you will find yourself 200 meters away from our residence. (duration of the trip: 35 minutes)

From the Stazione Nord (Cadorna) stop, head towards the Residence Ajraghi with the tram: from Piazzale Cadorna go to the Buonaparte/Ricasoli stop and take line 1 (Castelli); once at Piazza Castelli you will find yourself 200 meters away from our residence. (duration of the trip: 25 minutes)
